Monstera punctulata is an incredibly enigmatic Monstera that ranges from southern Mexico south to Panama. This species is a member of the subfamily Marcgraviopsis and closely related to dubia, acuminata, tenuis, filamentosa, spruceana & molinae. It is typically found in high-elevation environments, growing around 2m before beginning to fenestrate to maturity. This is an extremely rare Monstera in cultivation, being difficult to source the true form of this species. The mature form is tremendous, and requires a large space to grow happily.
