Anthurium Breeding

Over the past few years, I have been selectively breeding and hybridizing rare velvet-leaf Anthuriums. These incredible plants are some of the most stunning & awe-inspiring aroids in cultivation, notable for their incredible velvet sheen, oil-slick textures, and colorful bright emergents that harden dark & pillowy. When pairing plants, I tend to have a very specific look or goal in mind that I am attempting to achieve; the objective is to create offspring that are either more striking than the parents they originated from & improve upon them, or to create something that has never been thought of before, to unlock specific traits in offspring by combining parents possessing those traits. Every plant used in my breeding lines has been selectively chosen for a purpose, creating a dazzling array of never-before-seen Anthuriums that set them apart from many notable hybrids and pure species we all know and love.
