Monstera membranacea (Limón/Caribbean form)
Monstera membranacea (Limón/Caribbean form)
• Listing is for rooted starter plants of Monstera membranacea “Limón” taken from the basal cut of my mother vine (mother plant pictured in #1)
• An extremely rare and enigmatic aroid out of Costa Rica, this is a very rare opportunity to get ahold of one of the most interesting species in the genus
• Monstera membranacea fenestrates dramatically with maturity, producing large, circular fenestrations in juvenile stage and separate pinnatifid/midrib perforations when mature. In the juvenile stages, leaves are scythe-like and bullate. This species also appears to demonstrate convergent evolution with Amydrium medium, an Asian aroid with similar web-like circular fenestration at the midrib
• I am not responsible for damages or delays incurred by USPS. I packed every plant with the utmost care and include heat packs for plants such as these in the event of inclement or cold weather
